The Arabic Language Department of Salam University organized a grand ceremony in honor of the 9th graduation of its students. The event was held in a spiritual and warm atmosphere with the enthusiastic presence of professors, students, graduates' families, and special guests.
The ceremony began with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Hafizullah, followed by an opening speech from Professor Ubaidullah “Sultani.” Then, Professor Tariqullah “Makhur,” Head of the Arabic Language Department, welcomed the attendees, appreciated their warm presence, and emphasized the importance of the event.
The special guest of the event, Dr. Abdulsaboor “Fakhri,” a professor at the Faculty of Arabic Literature, Kabul University, highlighted the significance of Arabic language education and its role in religious and international communication during his speech. Afterwards, Qari Mohammad elevated the spiritual mood of the event by performing a beautiful nasheed.
Dr. Misbahullah “Abdulbaqi,” President of Salam University, also delivered a valuable speech, discussing the cultural and social dimensions of the Arabic language and emphasizing its role in strengthening the Islamic and cultural identity of society.
In another part of the program, several students shared their experiences and viewpoints. Mir Hussainuddin, a first-semester student, spoke about his experiences in learning Arabic. Rahman Shah, a student of the Arabic conversation course, discussed the current global situation of Muslims, and Ahmad, one of the graduates, shared memories and experiences from his academic journey on behalf of his classmates.
At the end of the program, faculty members of the Arabic Language Department were honored with certificates of appreciation, and diplomas were awarded to the graduating students. The ceremony concluded with a prayer by Dr. Misbahullah “Abdulbaqi,” and the graduates joyfully celebrated their achievement.
This ceremony reflected Salam University’s commitment to promoting the Arabic language and its education as a fundamental pillar of Islamic culture and civilization.
