The scientific seminar entitled "Zangzor Highway; A Bridge of Connection or a Line of Disruption?

The scientific seminar entitled "Zangzor Highway; A Bridge of Connection or a Line of Disruption? Examining the Strategic Consequences of the Recent Azerbaijan-Armenia Agreement" was held in the conference hall of Salam University on 5-6-1404 by the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences.
The program was moderated by Mr. Sebghatullah Qanooni, a fourth-semester student of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, and began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Ejaz Rahman Avari, a fifth-semester student of the Department of Political Science and International Relations.
Following that, Mr. Nasir Ahmad Navidi, a professor of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Salam University, presented the aforementioned seminar and stated in the introduction that the Zangzor Highway, as a communication route between Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan through Armenia, despite its economic and transit potential in the region, has become a fundamental and challenging issue in the South Caucasus due to political and security tensions between the two countries and the sensitivity of regional powers. Then, the esteemed professor addressed other topics of the seminar, such as: analysis of the materials of the new agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia mediated by the US government, the history of the South Caucasus in different periods, especially in the golden age of the Ottoman Caliphate, the history of the hostility between the two countries of Azerbaijan and Armenia, the geopolitical importance of the South Caucasus, the geo-economic importance of the South Caucasus, the geopolitical importance of the construction of the Zangzur highway, multilateralism and new actors in the South Caucasus region, the challenges ahead of the August 8 Zangzur agreement, and finally, he summarized the seminar topic and presented detailed, useful and valuable discussions to the audience.
Finally, the program ended with the professor's own prayer.
