The Academic Council meeting of Salam University, chaired by Dr. Misbahullah (Chairman of the Council) and attended by all members, began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After the opening remarks, the decisions of the previous meeting were read, and various topics were discussed and reviewed.
First, the report of all faculties for both bachelor’s and master’s programs was presented. According to the academic calendar, classes have progressed as planned, and the conditions for holding the 20% exam at the scheduled time are suitable. However, for some subjects that are delayed, compensatory classes must be arranged during the remaining two weeks.
Regarding attendance, it was emphasized that class attendance must be collected by next Sunday in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education, and the list of deprived students should be submitted to the Examination Department for system registration.
The Examination Committee has been activated according to its previous structure, and necessary instructions were given to its members. Additionally, the Fee Collection Committee was formed with the following members: Ustad Haseebullah Rofi (Head), Ahmad Zia Ahmadi, Abdul Khabib Seerat, Mohammad Sarwar Kazemi, Ustad Sharafuddin, Mohammad Abdul Qahir Zia, and Mohammad Ayub. Relevant duties were assigned to them.
It was also clarified that the second chance (make-up exam) will be conducted based on the credit system and the principles of the Ministry of Higher Education. For further clarity, an official announcement must be posted.
In conclusion, the meeting ended with a prayer by one of the members.
