The Faculty of Law and Political Science held a consultative meeting with graduates from different cohorts on 8/10/1404 (Solar Hijri) in the meeting hall of Salam University, with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Ismail Ammar, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science; Prof. Abdul Hamid Refat, Head of the Department of Law; and a number of graduates from various cohorts of both departments.
The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by introductory remarks by Dr. Mohammad Ismail Ammar. He described the purpose of holding such meetings as fostering mutual cooperation between the administration and graduates, stating that such gatherings strengthen communication and relationships between the university and its alumni and provide support for them. He emphasized the importance, necessity, and further strengthening of these programs.
Subsequently, Prof. Abdul Hamid Refat presented the prepared guidelines for the activities of the Alumni Committee to the participants and stressed the importance of holding such meetings.
Afterwards, representatives of graduates from different cohorts of the Faculty of Law and Political Science shared their valuable opinions and suggestions, expressed satisfaction with the organization of such sessions, and discussed topics such as: follow-up of documents for the current year’s graduates; cooperation in the field of research with graduates who are pursuing master’s and doctoral studies; organizing internship and practical training programs; providing greater tuition discounts in the master’s programs of Political Science and Private Law; and introducing graduates to relevant governmental and non-governmental institutions. On the other hand, employed graduates announced their commitment to providing comprehensive cooperation to the students of the Faculty of Law and Political Science within their respective institutions. Detailed discussions were held on these matters.
At the end, the meeting concluded with a closing prayer led by Dr. Mohammad Ismail Ammar.
